With over 50 years of military service, the U.S. Coast Guard Cutter Ingham offers visitors a wonderful portrait of Coast Guard history. This was the only Cutter to receive two Presidential Unit Citations for extraordinary heroism in action against an armed enemy. The National Memorial honors the 912 Coast Guardsmen killed in action during World War II and Vietnam War. This floating maritime museum is open to the public, Monday through Saturday.
